About

Main bio

I'm an interdisciplinary designer who's worked across Brand Identity โ†’ UI/UX โ†’ Content Design โ†’ Product, and more recently as the designer behind Marispeak, a maritime communication and navigation app for recreational boaters and fishermen.

Design has taken me somewhere I didn't expect, in 2025, I completed my Master of Design, where my research exegesis explored how generative AI is reshaping creative practice, an interest that now quietly shapes how I approach every project.

More recently, I've been designing and building Marispeak from the ground up, covering product, brand, and content strategy, which has taught me more about what makes design work than any single client project could.

Both experiences are grounded in the same belief: design should be considered, not decorative, built around the person actually using it.

Timeline

Marispeak

I'm leading brand, UI, wireframing, and the marketing website for Marispeak, a maritime navigation app for recreational boaters and fishermen. I've taken the product from concept to over 1k downloads, building a structured content and growth strategy alongside the core product design. This dual role, part designer, part growth operator.

2025 - Current

Aristel

At Aristel, I worked across design, marketing, and technical support, managing SEO and front-end maintenance across our websites while creating campaign assets and brand materials for over 40+ products, with a couple selling 200+ high ticket units. I liaised directly with international clients, providing technical software support and resolving product issues across telecommunications systems. I also designed product instruction pamphlets and videos, ensuring print-ready files met supplier and production specifications for new launches.

2023 - 2025

Freelancing

Since 2014, I've produced branding projects for clients across retail, tech, and professional services, including logo design and brand guidelines applied across both digital and print. I've managed social media content for clients, handling caption writing, scheduling, and ongoing digital presence across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. I've also launched client and self-initiated websites on Squarespace, Shopify, Framer, and WordPress, working across a range of platforms depending on each client's needs.

2014 - CURRENT

Coles & Woolworths

Across my time at Coles and Woolworths, I trained new staff and helped bring them up to speed in the same role, often ending up as the person others turned to for guidance day-to-day. Alongside that, I built strong customer service skills through constant, high-volume interaction with people in a fast-paced environment. Training others taught me how to explain things clearly and simply, and customer service gave me a real read on what people actually need in the moment, not just what looks good in theory.
